Clearwater Paddling offers wonderful sea kayak journeys in Barra, the Outer Hebrides and beyond.
Our trips are in relatively safe, protected waters and no previous experience is necessary: many participants have never been in a kayak before. Tours are geared to anyone who is reasonably fit and in good health. So why not join us for a day or two, or come and join one of our week long accommodation based tours or island hopping camping expeditions?

The silent mobility of sea kayaks enables us to explore a world of remote islands and stunning beaches and discover hidden lagoons and bays.
Powered by the rhythm of the paddle, we glide over crystal clear waters, home to a host of sea life. Paddle amongst colonies of seals, drift up close to an otter eating its catch, or even kayak alongside a basking shark. Catch sight of eagles soaring above tranquil lagoons, and come close to guillemots, cormorants and heron.
